DescriptionEastern-European folk medicine has likely known chaga (Inonotus obliquus) since the 1500s. Recent research confirmed that chaga possesses a strong antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory effect.Vitamins B1 and B2 help the nervous system function normally. Vitamin B2 helps the skin stay healthy. Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) helps reduce exhaustion and fatigue. A healthy diet and lifestyle is based on the diverse diet! Daily recommended consumption should not be exceeded. Food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
ConsumptionTraditional Recipe: Boil the water and cool it to 50˚C, add one chunk per one 200ml cup of hot water, simmer for 5-6h up to 48h. Remove the chunks. Re-heat the leftover fluid to 40-50˚C. Then place the chunks back into the liquid and let it brew for 4-5 hours. Drain. Add cooled boiled water to reach the original liquid volume. Refrigerate the brew up to 4 days in a sealed container. The chunks can be reused upto 5 times, and after that new chunks should be used for the brew. For the best effect, 100ml should be drunk before meals for up to 3 weeks. Daily consumption should be 1-2 cups, 3 weeks.
